Description
The project of this health centre aims to take advantage of the characteristics of the terrain. The site is slope and the elevation difference is of one level, creating a natural barrier between the street, the square and the terrain, that conditions the project’s approach.
Although it is a small building, the structure poses great challenges. The two parallel main volumes are designed as two reinforced boxes with 3.5m-long cable-braced cantilevers that hang from the side-walls.
