Since last year our structural photo contest was so well received, we decided to hold it again.
All the photos were delivered last friday and we had all the week to vote for our favourite. We already have a winner! It is Cristina Porta Serrano, our Business Developer, who submitted this spectacular picture of the Ecumenical Chapel of Saint Henry in Turku, Finland. The chapel, designed in 1996 and built in 2005, is formed by a structure of pointed archs made of pine wood and by an outer copper cladding, materials that change over time and give the building a different image year after year. The structural ribs are up to 11m high and were made from a single mold. Its form is inspired by the Gothic Cathedrals and by the fish Christian symbol.
We hope you like it as much as we do!
