The new health complex has five basement floors and four upper floors.
The structure is organized on the basis of an ordered columns grid. The basement slabs, due to the heavy loads and the high fire safety requirements, are designed with solid reinforced concrete slabs while the upper floor slabs are built with a unidirectional system of prefabricated panels supported on beams aligned with the columns.
The containment with almost 15m depth, was designed with a micropiles wall system. Due to the weakness of the micropiles in terms of stiffness and water tightness, a parallel wall was executed in descending form with shotcrete. The stability of the containment during the execution process is ensured with 5 lines of provisional anchors.
