It is the refurbishment of a resort which extends into an area of 24,500 m2 and the construction of a new conference room of 2240 m2.
At the structural level, it is a building made up of different blocks divided by expansion joints. These blocks are structurally independent.
The actions on the existing building will be needed just to solved the existing pathologies detected and occasionally strengthen the points where the project provides for an increase in charges or a change in geometry to the original project.
In the case of the new conference room we opted for a system of porticoes formed by pillars and beams with reinforced concrete slab floors and a central core of reinforced concrete that guarantee the overall stability of the building.
