Description
This is a set of new housing, parking and stores located at Parcerisa street nº4-6 sector UP-8 Can Batllo in Barcelona.
The vertical structure is organized in a base with square geometry. The upper floors have a central courtyard with a corridor around it through which the houses can be accessed. This allows a very regular and orderly vertical structure, with variable spans between columns of 5,50m and 7,85m.
The vertical structure is comprised of reinforced concrete columns, and a pair of diaphragm walls also made of reinforced concrete that have holes to pass the building services.
To allow these important spans, the horizontal structure composed by a reinforced concrete slab. The height of slabs vary between 27cm in the basement ceilings, 30cm in the central courtyard area and 32cm in the other storeys.
